Annotatsiya
This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the pedagogical and psychological features of the development of intellectual abilities in older preschool children. The main factors influencing the intellectual development of children, including age and individual characteristics, cognitive activity, social environment and the importance of the educational process, are highlighted. The role of pedagogical approaches, psychological factors and a developing educational environment in the formation of intellectual abilities is also substantiated. The results of the study indicate the need to activate children‘s thinking, develop independent thinking and creative abilities in the process of preschool education.
