The digitalization era has transformed the educational system with everincreasing innovative technologies as a result of which in more amenable learning environments there is a constant flow of new teaching methodologies. The article examines recent research on digital innovations and modern trends in higher education, focusing on blended learning as a core strategy bridging traditional pedagogy and technological advancement. Based on studies by Gashimov and Pestova (2021), Ivanenko et al. (2021), Yang et al. (2024), Danilov et al. (2021), and Bazeliuk (2022), the article explores both opportunities and drawbacks of practical use of blended learning format, which aims to create inclusive and high-quality learning experience for all learners.
