The issues of education and upbringing in Aitmatov‘s work “The First Teacher” are compared with the proverbs of the Chinese philosopher. Based on scientific sources and work, the significance of Confucian proverbs is analyzed. The analysis of proverbs focuses on the study of some similarities in the culture of speech of the Chinese and Kyrgyz people. To master proverbs and sayings, you need to follow the traditions, customs and peculiarities of other peoples. Chinese and Kyrgyz differ from each other in history, religion, psychology, humanism, proverbs and sayings. The goal is for future Chinese scholars to understand these issues, to learn the features and similarities in the speech art of the Kyrgyz and Chinese peoples. An hour as an object of research. Aitmatov‘s work "The First Teacher" and proverbs of Confucius, a dictionary of proverbs, samples of fiction were received. The methods of analysis, synthesis, and description were used in the study.
